What username and password do I use for library access?

You will need to know your AUeID and Password* to use certain subscription resources from the library.
When you link to one of these resources, you will be asked to log in through the Library Remote Authentication page.
Your User ID is your AUeID -- that seven-digit number you use for Gmail, Brightspace, AUDirect, etc. Make sure you type in those leading zeros.
Your Password is the same one you use for Gmail, Brightspace, AUDirect, etc.
You must be an active student (enrolled and currently in class) or employee (under contract) to access library resources.
*You can check what your current AU Direct password is by logging out of AU Direct (from the main AU Direct screen, click on your name in the upper right hang section of the screen and select logout).
Then, begin the process of logging back in.
On the first screen, enter your 7-digit ID number and click continue.
On the next screen, pause. If you use saved passwords, click on the eye to the right of the password entry field. This will show you your currently used AU Direct password. This is the password you should carefully type in to access library resources.
